I think that is a wonderful thing for anyone to do, famous or not.
A friend of mine's parent's took in their best freinds' son when the couple died in an accident & even though he was already a teenager, my friend consider him his brother.

Robin Williams and Christopher Reeve were both roommates as students at Julliard and remained best friends since. I remember seeing him everytime the Reeves were at a benefit. What a great friend.

I heard Dana Reeve has 2 sisters. Why wouldnt one of them take her son?
That is really nice of Robin Williams, but I dont know how stable he is.

He really is a great guy. I know someone who worked with him and she said he is just an amazing person. When her father passed away Robin Williams sent this huge basket to her home and signed it Robin and his families names.
That is so wonderful that he will be taking care of Will.

I love Robin Williams as an actor and comedian, but do I know for sure if he would be a good father? No. I think it's a wonderful gesture, and I hope Will just ends up living with someone who loves him and provides a good role model for him, as his parents certainly were wondeful people.

I think it's awsome that Robin Williams is keeping his promise to his friend and his family!! He has shown a great amount of loyalty and support to the Reeve family that I think speaks volumes about him as a person.

Will he only be financially providing for him or raising him? I think it is wonderful that Robin Williams have offered to do this, but wouldn't Dana have made provisions in her will about this?

Yeah, I think it was meant more in a way of financial & emotional support, but I'm sure somone was named legal guardian--maybe him, but probably a relative.
