I don't think it's weird at all. Growing up I hated my middle name (Adele) so I would tell people it was Alexa.
Make one up if it bothers you

I dont have a middle name on my birth certificate But my confirmation name i use now as my middle name I have been for a long time it is Catherine.

i used to make up a name for myself whenever a guy i wasn't interested in tried to pick me up in a bar or a club.....I was "Matilda" sometimes!!

My mom and my IL's don't have middle names... oh, and my granddmother didn't but she was one of nine so we joke that her parent's ran out of names.
Mine is Ann... the basic black of names as it goes with anything.

I don't have a middle name. My parents didn't understand the point of it.
However, I have made my maiden name my middle name. And Ava will have my maiden name as her middle name, as well.

Mine is Susan. Probably would've been Anne except I have an older sister and that's her middle name!
I didn't want a run of the mill middle name for my daughter, no Anne, Marie, Lynn, etc. Her middle name is Gabrielle.

Lynn is my middle name and I love it. I never thought it weird that some people didn't have middle names.
However, if I ever have a daughter - I plan on Ann for her middle name to honor my Mother

My mom made up my middle name, Charon (hence Charon54). I pronounce it like Sharon. She wanted a boy to name after her dad Charles, so she came up with Charon. Luckly for her, she had a boy later and named him Richard Charles (my grandfather was Charles Richard).
DH's middle name is Matthew.
But a good friend of mine has no middle name which looked weird to her on her wedding invite since her DH insisted on putting his middle name on the invites.

i like it, but it is too commonly used for a middle name i think, (esp. with my first name!  )
i am glad i have one, i think it would be weird not to have one (but my mom doesnt have a middle name... she doesnt seem to miss it..) 
ETA: I would have liked something a little more original..
