Do you believe in ghosts?
Just wondering, thought it would be an interesting topic. Also, please share your stories if you have ever seen or experienced anything of the paranormal.

I'm not sure if I believe in ghosts perse... but I believe there's something else out there.
I had one spooky thing happen to me when I lived on my own in my apartment.
I had this floor lamp that had quit working on me like a year earlier and I just never took it out of the apartment. It looked nice in my living room  Anyway, I woke up one morning and the lamp that wasn't working (and that I had unplugged) was plugged in an on!
I got rid of it that morning! 
My mother one the other hand has had a number of weird experiences.

yes i definitly do
i have had moments where i feel my grandmother around me (i live in her old apartment) or out of nowhere i smell smoke and feel like my dad is around, he was a heavy heavy smoker

I believe that there are spirits.
My dad was diagnosed with adult onset epilepsy. Back in April, he had a seizure while driving and somehow escaped several trees, went through a fence, over a deck and into a shed in someone's back yard, all without getting hurt or hurting anyone else.
We figured out the time lapsed and it was over an hour. He said that my mom's cousin (who had passed away a month prior) told him to wake up.

i kind of beleive in them
i was vacuming and dragging the vacuum as far as the chord could go.
then the vacuum went off and when i looked, the vacuum plug was 99% out of the socket.
then the dryer made a noise to signal it was a dry load, so i went downstairs to get my dry clothes out. then all of a sudden the vaccum goes on upstairs. scared the s*it out of me!

This was after my grandmother died. I was sitting in my bed reading when I heard a noise above me. I looked up and saw the picture hanging over my bed tilt to one side all by itself. I screamed for my dh to come into the room and he said...what the hell did you do to the picture?
The funny thing is...when my grandmother was around, she always said that she would never show herself to me, but she would move things. I guess that was her way of showing me she's still around...

Interesting you say that.... my little cousin is now 7, but when he was much smaller and just had started to talk, he would tell my aunt and uncle about "grandpa" and actually described him perfectly...my grandfater died 20 years ago! And my cousin is named after him.

i beleive that pets see spirits as well. on several occassions my dog has out of nowhere snapped his head up, looked around the room and starting growling.

it freaks me out when my cat does strange things, like jump on the counter in the basement while we're watching TV, stands on her hind legs and scratches and sniffs at the wall.
Or when she just stares at the upstairs.
