What's Santa bringing this year???
I went shopping yesterday with my mother and we picked up some cute stuff...Yeah I might be going crazy...but I'm sure all you first time mom's are dong the same!!!
I can't wait to play with them!!!

Those are some great toys. I was thinking of getting some of them for Emily as well.
I've done a little bit of shopping so far -- not much. I got Emily 2 toys -- Leap Frog Lily and Fisher Price "bobble and giggle pals."
I've also gotten her a few outfits and a piggy bank. I'll go bucknutty on the toys once my hubby is home and we can go shopping together. I can't wait!

DH and I aren't going totally nutty this year since he is so small plus our house is so small and the toys have already taken over  . So far we bought the FP Stacker, Puzzles and books. My mom bought him the a Leap Frog Table, my grandma got him Baby Gymanstics by FP.

Which one did you wind up getting?
She is custom making me one that is black with bugs painted all over it. My front room has denim couches and black furniture so I got that go in there since it will be the "play" room. I also wanted unisex not something too girly so I thought bugs was cute.

We didn't get too much so far - we're still shopping. But we did get:
~ personalized Big Taggie blanket
~ Fisher-Price blocks
~ Little Me jacket
~ other clothes
~ books
~ soft nativity scene
ETA: we also got him some Papush lion shoes (pic below)
We also want to get him a push toy since he keeps trying to walk.
The photos are the blocks and the taggie, but we got a different print for the taggie. Image Attachment(s):

Maybe we're Scrooges, but we're not buying Katherine too much this year. She doesn't know what's going on, plus we have a ton of family who will be inundating our house with toys and clothes!
So far I've gotten her the Cinderella DVD and a big story book of fairy tales. I think that will be it unless I decide to splurge on the Cinderella Barbie.
I didn't tell my DH what I bought her and he's not telling me what he's buying her; that way, at least we'll be surprised with her stuff even though she couldn't care less!

That's fun what you and DH are doing. We don't have much family here so she'll be getting money from everyone else which is why we're going a little overboard. Totally unnecessary but I just can't help myself.

I don't think you are scrooges, DH and I feel the same way. I only bought Alex a few little things.

I couldnt even begin to start to show everything I got for x-mas. I bought a little here, a little there... Emma is getting 15+ things from us and Jeremy has about 10 but some are LARGE items like the LeapFrog walk around play thing

Some ideas I had for Kevin (some I will get and some I will give to family for ideas)
-Little Touch Leappad
-Beanbag chair - maybe this one
-baby cd player
-the pull phone (above)
-red wagon
-little people farm
-shape sorter os some sorts
-Leapfrog learning table (my aunt bought this already)
-some kind of push buggy like this
-drop and roar dinosaur
-books, music, videos, puzzles, bath toys
-new robeez slippers
-maybe some kind of book case or toy shelf or toy box - still deciding
Still looking for more ideas - this kid is going to to get tons - I can see it already between this and his birthday only about a month or so later....
