If you like central florida, the outskirts of Orlando are booming right now with really good prices.

I live in Central Florida so if you have any questions about the area please do not hesitate in asking.

Naples
Tampa
St. Pete
Sarasota
Clearwater
Many love Sanibel and Captiva
Ft Myers

I'm adding Cape Coral!
Its a 'burb of Ft. Myers - and just over the bridge from Sanibel and Captiva.

LOVE Sanibel...reminds me of Hawaii, without the volcanos.

Deb, have you been there since the hurricane? Is it doing better yet?

We are also looking into the carolinas. I don't think they are as expensive as Florida is right now. New homes in palm beach county are starting in the mid 300's.

We have been pricing homes in N & S Carolina and you can get a 3 bedroom home still for starting in the 130s.

I meant Virginia the prices are pretty comparable to FL if not more, and those areas you will see will boom faster- the Carolinas and Virginia b/c of the Hurricane issue, real estate agents are waiting to see what happens this season, this will tell a lot in the upcoming sales for FL.

I allready told DH the property we buy will be at least 45 to an hour away from the water and be more inland. I love FL!
