I just thought of a biggie for me:
I hate when you ask DH or whomever how something looks and they say- FINE.
DOn't tell me its fine, just either say it ***** or it looks nice

This is in a totally different vein, but I was thinking today how I hate the word "pussy". it just makes me want to gag....even if somsone is saying "pussy willow" or "pussy cat"....
Funny you should say that, b/c my first reaction to this post was that I wish I never had to hear the "c-word" again.

My Mother is famous for
"You people" and it drives me nuts!
At work, "What are you going to do for me".
People are always looking for something for nothing.
I had an assistant once that always used " They can kiss my a*s in Macy's window on Thanksgiving Day" it was funny the first 100 times she used it

I also hate "young people". My jr. high principal always addressed us as "young people," and it drove me insane!

I hate the phrase "what's doing?" or "what's you's doing?" That drives me crazy! OR when someone is talking and they say 'anyways..." It's ANYWAY not ANYWAYS!!

One of the higher-ups in my region always says "We have to move the work along" and they also talk about being "engaged". Um, I am married now and that was the only time in my life where I plan to be "engaged."
Someone at my job always kept telling me that I had to learn how to "do more, to do less". Where is than head scratching emoticon?

"First of all" (especially when it's not followed by a 2nd!)
"What goes around, comes around"
"What are you gonna do?"
"Can I ask you a question?" (um, you JUST did! )
"Atta boy/girl" (mainly hear it at softball games, and it always makes me think they're speaking to pets!)
"You know what I mean?" or "You know what I'm saying?"... it's even worse when a person ends EVERY sentence with that.
