How much $$ do you spend going out to eat?

I just figured out that DH and I spent at least $250 per month eating out! Last month we spent $300

Dh and I love going out to eat... since we've moved and i am not working, not as much! hopefully we'll be able to go soon! We used to spend at least 200 a month though!!

Sometimes we'll just go to the diner to grab something to eat, but if we go out for dinner, we usually spend atleast $150.

i don't even want to think about adding it up

after my long work days thats what i do look foward to.. a romantic night out with some drinks and just laugh and laugh

before we were married - ALOT, probably more than $300/month because we ate together 2-3 times per week, and the other nights, he was having takeout after work (we didn't live together)

I'd like to think we save $$ now because I cook 5 nights a week.

80-110 a pop for a nice place which is usually about 3x a month
he treats me in exchange for me cooking dinner during the week

prob $500 or more

(we eat out 90% of the time whether its dining out or ordering in)

I need to try to cut back on eating out so much. I just figured out that 3 months ago we spent almost $500!

a ton, probably 400 at least. DH practically always has beers and we eat out a LOT!

I honestly don't want to dare try and figure out how much $$ we spend eating out per month.. I already know its CRAZY -- since I do not cook and neither does DH

we rarely go out to dinner, just special occiasions like our anniversary.

a lot. We eat out for dinner at least 2x a week and usually for lunch on the weekend. It adds up quickly

We used to spend a lot more but now we're probably at under $100/month because I can't eat at most restaurants.

I would say max $200 but we rarely go out to dinner. We like to stay home & cook!

a lot!! i would say at least $300 a month probably.... we go out to dinner every friday and saturday night ( i don't cook on the weekends- LOL), plus every once in a while, we'll order in during the week,too (but thats usually somethig cheaper like pizza or chinese). AND DH goes out for lunch EVERY day with friends from work ( i've tried a million times to get him to bring it, but he won't have that! )
so, yeah...we need to cut down.

Too much. Neither of us brings lunch to work (though we'll go through spurts where we will). If we go out to eat just to "grab a quick bite) it's never under $40...and we had a few $150+ dinners last month

It's absurd.

We go out for a nice dinner once a month, and it usually runs us $250.00, and we get take out Sushi once a month. I cook all other nights.

I refuse to eat at places like Applebees, Chilis and Fridays, unless it's by invitation from friends. I refuse to spend 60 bucks on crappy food and drinks when I can make a better meal at home.

Barely ever. I don't like going out to eat, I love to cook and feel disappointed that "i could have made it better" everytime we go out, so i rather just stay in and cook. I will splurge on sushi though, that I will not attempt at home.

Unless its a special occasion or we have a gift certificate, we don't go out to eat to at nice places. We do however go to Hooters or get Pizza.
I'm the bad one though. I go out for sushi at least once a week with the girls for lunch. DH doesn't like sushi.

ETA: We would love to go out more, it's simpy a matter of where we want to spend our $$ and right now its all going to the housel.
