Whats something you would really like for your shower?(not necessarily gifts)
I was looking at those awesome gifts posted and I was thinking,
I really want the diaper cake and the clothes line thing. For some reason, the diaper cake is big. LOL I dont know why- I doubt I would ever take it apart!
I like the clothes line too, not even for the clothes, but when I see them in shower pics I think its so cute!

I love the clothes line as well. Part of me really hopes I get the diaper cake. I might be a little disappointed if I don't get it.

I had two diaper cakes and they were not that big and I took them apart. I have pics of them. I also had a clothes line but unfortunately I do not have pics of it.

A children's book wishing well.
It would be great to start his library and my son loves books.

Thanks. My cousin made them for my sister to give to me that is why one of the tops is a bib that says My Aunt Loves Me.

I wanted a big picture frame where everyone signed the matting with messages for the baby.
My family did a "mini" version of it for me -- people only had room to write "best wishes" and things like that.
I then did a large version for my sister's shower and it came out nice.
ETA: I just did a search and it was Stefanie who had one that I saw first -- there are pics on this page

Sorry to sounds stupid, but what is the 'clothes line' thing? I haven't been to a baby shower in a while with one... Diaper cake I was familiar with

Me neither. But I was appreciative of all the wonderful stuff I did receive. I just wish I had more books for him now. I want him to be a little brain!

I didn't have a diaper cake!  But my sister did up a clothes line and gave it to me at Xmas. It was sooooo cute!!!! There must of been 20 outfits on it! She goes a little overboard!

Its a clothes line with little outfits hanging up- you can drape it as decoration or sometimes people put them in a present and you pull it out and it keeps going, its really cute. ( I hope I'm explaining this right!)

I really wanted a GC for professional photos of DS. Didn't get it.
I got the clothesline thing and really didn't like it I didn't want a diaper cake either.

This was the most awesome thing I got for my shower. It is a topiary made of onesies, socks, bibs, washcloths, etc. LOVE IT! Image Attachment(s):

I love homemade blankets..........The thought of someone crocheting thinking of my little baby was beautiful. One of my fave gifts was a GC for a weeks rental of a stork outside my home............very cool!!

I guess I am the odd man out.. I really don't like the diaper cakes... I would feel too horrible taking it apart, so I rather just not get it.
