My office isnt having an official office party. However the employees want a party and we are making our own christmas party actually in the office. We are all bringing in decorations, putting up a tree in the lobby and on the call center floor as well as a menorah and thinks for Kwanza. Towards the end of the month right before christmas we are all bringing in a dish and doing a pot luck type thing for during the day. So it will be a non stop christmas party in the office. I'll be bringing the eggnog

I HAVE to. My dept hosts the damn thing. I have to stay until it is over, and it runs from 4pm to abut 12:30 a.m. The non-stop alcohol keeps people from going home.

its a luncheon in a chinese restaurant for 2 hours in the middle of the day on a WEDNESDAY. Hey, it's better than sitting in the office!

I'm not even sure if they are having on this year - it wasn't mentioned in the memo about the holidays we got last week.
If we do, yeah, I don't think I have a choice b/c it's lunch - basically we leave work early and go to a restaurant for lunch. I'd love the not working part, but I don't think it'd be too much fun.

That's what ours are usually like-- except no t Chinese food.We usually go to a bar afterward, but so far now word on anything. I kinda have to go to the luncheon part.

No cause it's $50 not including drinks and I wouldn't eat so it's a waste of $ for me. Me and a few work friends are skipping the office party and going to happy hour.

ohhhh have a great time!!!
One of mine is at Bayard's Downtown. The other is at the Yale Club midtown. I have one during lunch, so I will go to that one. Then we have one at Chevy's right after work, so I will go there too. I don't really count the last two.
I would go to the third evening party, but I am going to a show that night.

We don't really have one. A few of us go out to lunch a few days before Christmas.
