My husband is a teacher in Levittown and he just did a dance around the house that school is closed tomorrow.
I'm about to do a dance too, because I COULD NOT hear him say "Why did it have to start snowing on Saturday night" ONE MORE TIME!!!!!
So....Thank you Levittown School District!!!!

I just got the call a few minutes ago! Valley Stream Schools are closed as well as West Hempstead (Dh got the call also!)

i am STILL waiting for my call!!!! My sisters district (West HEmpstead) is closed and the town I live in (Long Beach) is closed.. Cmon!!!!!!!!!!

I don't know. Walk hasn't update their website in almost a half hour, I'm hoping it will be a BIG update when they finally do!

At this point, I know I'm not going to have off tomorrow, I just want a delay at least. I only teach 2 out of 9 periods on Monday, and if we have a delay, all I have to do is lunch duty!

DH and I just got home, been doing rounds cleaning all our parents houses and the roads completely S U C K!! All schools should be closed tomorrow. The southern state only had two lanes barely clear and the on and off ramps are horrible. Merrick road is gross and side streets stink too. So prayin everyone gets off or if they have to go has a slow and safe commute!!
