We had both agreed not to get each other anything this year because we are in the middle of looking for a new home and getting married in Aug.
He followed the rules a bit and only treated me to dinner but I feel bad not getting him something.
He loves fishing and he hasn't gone since before our 3 year old was born, so I rented him a canoe and got him a new fly fishing pole and Ill send him away for like 4 hours....that way I get a gift too

New golf clubs.  (I'm a golf widow)
From things remembered - club cover's, and a shoe bag with his initals stitched on it.

I think this year, for his very first fathers day, I will let him take me out for a meal.

Honestly nothing, maybe renew Netflix for the rest of the year.... and thats only because I like buying presents.

I have no idea what else to get him.
My son and my DH have the Big Guy, Little Guy hats... it's hilarious when they wear it out...
Last year I had the kids make Daddy a shirt that said We love Daddy with their handprints on it (of course I don't really expect him to wear it, but it's cute to have the handprints) and my son painted him a nice rock paperweight this year I'm going to get a portrait of the kids done with a nice frame for him, and I don't know what else...we don't usually do big gifts or anything... it's more the sentimental "Daddy" stuff.

I got that top one his first father's day and he LOVES it. My DH doesn't work in an office, so it's really difficult.
This year, since we just got a new programmable coffee maker, I got him the travel mug with the picture in my avatar.

I have n o clue his b-day is a few days before so I might do something as a combination but I do know I am goingto get him the next season o f the sapronos that he needs but that will be from the baby

I got my DH 2 tickets to see the Brooklyn Cyclones. So he can take Claire to her first baseball game!......Ill also to get a picture card of them together from shutterfly as well.

I bought the "greatest Dad 2006" t-shirt from Old Navy and also a pic frame that says "I Love Daddy" and I'm going to put a picture in it of either the baby or DH holding the baby...and then I bought a little outfit for her with little froggies all over it because DH loves frogs.
I also got the "greatest dad 2006" from Old Navy. I like the picture frame idea and frog outfit. I will a get an outfit with cars on it since DH loves cars.

I really like the locket keychain, but I think my DH would ruin it. I'll probably get him the paintball gun he wants. I already got him a golf club cover that I can put DD's picture into.

My Dh works in construction and 2 years later, still in pretty darn good shape!
