I have purchased lots of fake bags...
Fendi, Louis Vuitton...
Now I just buy really nice bags I see in cheap department stores like Sears or JC Penney or whatever. I'm too cheap to buy a really expensive bag. When I was younger and I had disposable income I had a new Coach bag every other month.
On a Coach bag side note, after I moved out my mother was cleaning out my room for my sister's garage sale. She took all of my REAL Coach bags and brought them to her garage sale and sold them for $5 each to my sister's MIL!! And then her MIL had the nerve to constantly talk about it to me!!

I have a few, but since I have been able to buy real I don't use them anymore.
I have a fake Louis, Dior, and Gucci. Haven't used them in years though. But the Louis and Dior are really good knockoffs.

Yep. Especially "trendy" pieces that I do not think I will use for more than one season. I bring them to work, that way I do not care if they get trashed on the subway & such.
ETA: I do have designer bags. usually I will buy when it is a bad that I can use across seasons, like a classic piece.

By accident. I bought a Gucci off ebay when the ebay craze started. I knew it was fake and too lazy to send it back, so I used it as a beach bag. I wouldn't use it as an everyday bag, too embarassed. I also ended up buying the real one and chucking it eventually.

Not intentially.
I purchased a Balenciaga off of Ebay about 3 years ago from a "reputable" seller.
I knew it was fake as soon as I opened the box just from the smell.
Needless to say, it was returned and I got my money back.

No I haven't, and after seeing the fakest LV on the woman in front of me at Walgreen's and how ridiculous it looked, I never will (the dye on the trim was actually running all over).
