My belly is HUGE.
I am 20 weeks today and I feel like a beached whale. Someone I am acquaintences with is also 20 weeks and she's barely showing at all. I feel so gross.

We will hopefully find out Wednesday if the little bean cooperates! I'm so excited, but I'm trying to not think about it just incase they can't tell.
I know everyone carries differently, but it's hard to not feel crappy when everyday, five different people point out just how gigantic I am

i think you look great!!! i think at 17 weeks i look bigger!!! i can understand though. this weekend all i kept saying is- how far can i stretch this stomach of mine- it feels like its going to explode already!!! 
its true though- we all carry so different- so don't even remotely compare yourself to someone else!!! like i said i really think you look great!!!

Try not to pay too much attention to what people tell you, I seriously think that people don't think when they talk to pregnant women.

i say go see you doctor to make sure you're all healthy and at the right weight. that's if you're still unsure. i think you look fine. you're pregnant. embrace it and live freely. hell, girl. i'm not preg and my bod looks like your's. =P

Stacy, I go to the doctor at 1:30 on Wednesday. I don't teach Wed. afternoons, so I'm going to slip out early. I will certainly call you afterwards
I mean, up until this month, I had only gained 6 lbs my entire pregnancy, and I know you gain more weight in these months, but I guess I am self-conscious from all the people making comments. I never feel good about myself as it is, so this is a difficult change. I'm afraid to weigh myself, so I'll find out how much I gained when I go on Wednesday!

you sure dont look huge to me. not in the least. Its just hormones. Try to remember whats growing inside, you should be loving the belly, not hating it. Its natural, no one looks at you and thinks your huge.

This may change but for some reason DH and I can't wait until I start showing! I think then it will seem more real.

You look WONDERFUL!!! People are so inconsiderate...I got all the stupid comments from fellow teachers, my grad school professor and even preggo ladies at my doc's office. Everything ranging from, "Are you sure they're not twins? YOu know sometimes one will hide behind the other so the doc can't see them", or from my grad school professor, "Are you sure you're due in August?? I don't think you're going to make it past May the way ur carrying (I delivered on August 10..thank u very much.) Gee, can't you tell I'm so bitter??
But I'll say it again, you look so great, you seem to be all belly!!
