i don't even know what a slow cooker is..much less cooking with beer...

I use it in Corned Beef and Cabbage and also in Chili. I also use it to steam clams.

Actually, it's great to steam things with. You can top some chicken or fish with veggies and wrap it up in a foil packet and pour some beer over it before you seal it. Really good. Also great in stews and soups - over sausages, etc. it's very versatile Chat Icon

I've used it when boiling hot dogs and marinated steak on the grill with it.
I've also dipped some pineapple rings into Guinness then sprinkle sugar on them and grill them until they caramelize. you can then top that with a scoop of vanilla ice cream!Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon

So do I..... I also use it for beer batter chicken. I don't eat fried chicken often but when I do it this way.
