TEACHERS: What subject do you teach, and what certifications do you have?
I'm an 8th grade collaborative teacher in English and SS. In the past few years, I've also taught: English 10R, English 11R, RR 7, RR 8, Self-contained 8th, Life Skills 7th and 8th, and all subjects co-taught in 7th and 8th grade under the collaborative model (English, SS, Science, Math). Phew.
I am certified in Special Education pre.k-12, English 7-12, and Elementary Education k-6.

Well at the moment...I don't teach anything...I have taught 2nd and 3rd in NYC...
Certified in Elem Ed...N-6
Getting my Adv Lit Cert starting this Fall

Don't worry there is a job for everyone out there...it just may take a few to find it.
My cert is Elementary Ed. and I am going for my master's in TESOL (ESL) with grades K-12.

certified: pre-k-6th general ed
special ed. k-12 grade
literacy k-6
and I still can't get on tenure track

Certified in Spanish K-12, ESL K-12, currently teach Spanish and ESL in a 7-12 school, I have taught nearly every level of both. This is the beginning of year 6 for me.

I am certified in English 7-12 and have taught at the middle school level, including 6th grade. I also have all the requirements for certification in Literacy, but I haven't done the paperwork yet.

I teach general music 1-8
Chorus 1-8
Music history 5-8
Music theory 5-8
Band 4-8
I am certified in Music K-12.
