Brick work and Trees Updated with Pictures

Today they should be finished with the brick work we are having done to our house - I will take pics when it is done.

We removed the bushes in the front of the house.....

We are having a custom round stoop made - There was no stoop before...

A custom walkway

And Brick Pavers around the flower beds....

All light grey and Dark Grey.

It looks so good.

In the backyard, today the Tree Service is coming to remove 6 trees - that are infested with catepillers and all sorts of bugs....Then we will be killing all the poison ivy.....and putting down Sod after.....

I dont have before shots of the area where the trees are - but one of the trees are huge.....It goes through the electrical wires...and it is pushing the fences out a little.

In the pictures the bushes are still there in the front - The trees and bushes are on the left of the yard picture

It looks very nice!

What happened with the tree? Did it crush your fence?

Re: Brick work and Trees

I dont know what happen with the pictures I took of the rear of the house -

I was shocked yesterday when I came home to a huge tree laying in my front yard and no trees in my back yard.

I counted 6 trees - 1 huge one - and 1 huge bush that they took down.

Now my yard is sooo bright and much larger. Even though we only gained a few feet.

I finally met the guy that lives behind me - Couldnt see him before lol....Now we gotta get a 6 foot fence for that section. There is an ugly chain link there that we think is ours - I will have to ask Eddie - the rear neighbor.

We are just going to put up a wood cheaper fence in the back.

In the front we wanted to do 6 foot PVC with lattice on top for the front left of the house....and for the front right of the house with a gate on the right of the house...

Next week they are coming to dig out my area where the deck is going to be....and install my new front door.

Scott

I just have to kill all the Ivy now - fun....and put down grass seed after....

I was thinking about doing a pond in the corner where the big tree stump is.....I was talking about it with my father in law yesterday.

Cornerstone is coming back today to clean up and put more sand down on the walk. The bricks have to settle and the sand helps with that. I wasnt aware of that, so I cleaned it up.

Yes, I was surprised you were sweeping the sand off.

It's good that it rains. It help the sand settle too.

I only know because I did a patio myself with square pavers and researched how to do it.
