Re: Winter Coat
i've had a Polo RL bubble jacket for the last couple of years... but i'm realizing that it makes me look like a Tire... and that i may be getting a little too old for 'bubble jackets" (b/c it makes me look like i'm 15 when i'm wearing it).
i have an Old pea coat (was a hand me down).. and i love the way it looks, but the other ones that i've tried on don't seem nearly as warm. So im not sure where to get a nice, Warm one.

Re: Winter Coat
I used to wear my dad's pea coat, it was the warmest thing ever.
I have one from Marshalls- I forget who made it but it's not a name brand. But it's not that warm so I am going to get another one. Plus, I got four winters out of it so I don't feel bad.

True-- i should embrace it. the only thing is-- is a boys jacket, so it just makes me look like a 15 yr old teenage boy stuck inside a tire

Re: Winter Coat
I love coats, but I normally have to buy petite ones because I am short. I have a long gray coat with a fur collar, a black long JCrew peacoat, a shorter tan JCrew peacoat, an Abercrombie navy bubble jacket, a North Face ski jacket, and a long black coat with a fur collar. I like my North Face one for weekends, and one of the black ones to work.

Re: Winter Coat
I have a really old black Gap bubble jacket, and a Columbia wind/waterproof ski jacket for when it's raining/snowing, or just realllllly cold. I get the most use out of the bubble jacket.

Re: Winter Coat
I alternate between 2 wool coats (one tan, one deep purple) - Jones NY & Marvin Richards I think, another Marvin Richards silverish suede coat and a Burton snowboarding jacket. I think I got most of them at Loehmann's.

i wear the same "dressy" styles as well. i have a short black pea coat (gap), 2 long black wool coats (1 BR, 1 jcrew), long wool camel (jcrew) and a long grey wool tweed (jcrew). the casual jackets that i have are from gap and old navy.

Re: Winter Coat
I don't think you can go wrong style wise with a pea coat, whether long or short. I alternate between that and a ski jacket. Light weight but warm!
