5 floating holidays (like vacation)
unlimited sick - but hardly anyone I work with uses these days. It's hard enough for me to schedule any vacation time, much less squeeze in a sick day (unless I'm very very sick)

Our vacation expires on a yearly basis, so if we don't use it, we lose it. It's tough though, because I have to count my days and plan out my days off months in advance just to make sure I have enough time left.

DH has 4 weeks vacation, 2 personal, unlimited sick, and his time carries over to the next year. He is constantly accruing time off. He ALWAYS has time available.

I get 5 weeks and 2 days of vacation and we dont have set Sick time....we have occurences....each sick day is one occurence...you can have up to 4 in a 6 month period , #5 means an oral warning

I get 18 days, split however I want.
We also earn "comp" time and can save those hours for extra days off.

i get 4 weeks, 2 personal, my birthday. for each yr that i'm with the company, my sick time is 1 week full pay and one week at 1/2 pay. the sick time gets carried over

I get 3 weeks vacation, 6 sick days, and 2 personal days. Managers get 3 weeks, non-managers only get 2 weeks.

I get unlimited sick time. I never understood it, but I'm not complaining

I just started a new job and while the PTO is pretty basic, we are closed on every possible holiday AND the week between christmas and New Years!! I have never had that..

So, I get..
2 weeks vacay
I think 8 sick days
I think 5 personal days

Plus 14 closed holidays, and the extra week PLUS Summer Fridays.. leave at 12 30/1 every Friday Mem day through Labor Day.

I work at a college.

I get 3 weeks vaca....must use in year (can not roll over)

10 sick/personal days (can roll over)

Oh yes....and we have Fridays off in the summer and work 9-4 June - August.
Plus all holidays.

I work P/T now so i only get about five days to use as I see fit, as well as holidays if they fall on my regular work days.

When I was F/T, I got four weeks vacation (and could carry over), three personal days, seven holidays and my sick time was up to 200+ days (available if you need it for something serious, but they don't expect you to use it all up by saying you have a cold or a headache). It's really so you don't have to go out without pay or on disability. I've been at my company a looooooonnngggg time. The vacation and sick time increases the longer you've been there (starts at two weeks vacation and about ten sick days).

We can only carry over 5 vacation days into the next year.

I get 13 days (10 vacation/3 personal but they lump them together) for the next 3 years with this company.

I get unlimited sick days -as long as I don't take abuse it. They are really good - but if you are out 3 or more in a row you need a dr's note.

We also get out 99% of the time at 1 on Fridays whenever we have Monday off as a holiday, and we get summer Fridays starting July 4th (out at 1pm)

My first 2 years I get 2 vaca weeks, 4 personal days, and no real limit on sick days. If the company feels like the sick days are being abused then some of teh questionable days will revert to vaca or no-paid time off.

on the day of my 2nd anniv, I will get an additional paid week's vacation, which will go up again on the day of my 4th, 6th & 9th anniversaries. after that I get an additional day of vaca & one additional PD a year.

I also get summer fridays.

I get 4 weeks vacation, 5 floating holidays, 12 sick days and we also get extra days for any extra time we work. For every extra 37 hours we get another personal day.

I voted based on what I used to get when I worked. I had 4 weeks vacation, 9 sick days (which carried over if I didn't use them) and we had flex time so every other week I had a day off.

No sick "days" per se. But you're allotted 10 per year...however, it's really frowned upon to call out sick. So they're only used if *truly* sick (people have coome in WITH strep! )
