Linea Negra POLL
An old wives' tale claims that if your linea negra runs only to your navel, you are carrying a girl; but if it goes all the way up to the xiphoid (bottom-most part of the center of your ribcage), it's a boy.
Right or wrong if you know the sex of your baby?

I don't believe in any of those things. I STILL have people tell me that I'm carrying too low to be having a girl. Last time I checked, there was no scientific proof that how you carry has to do with the sex of the baby!

mine is so faint also looks like a bruise it goes from about 2 inches below my bra and stops at the top of my belly botton..i do not know what I am having.

Ive never gotten a linea nigra with any of my pregnancies. I think it has more to do with your skin pigmentation.
