Linea Negra = boy?
Did anyone have the linea negra and have a girl?
For some reason - i think i read somewhere that it was associated with having a boy - i don't know.
Im 31 weeks and all belly and the linea negra has become more apparent these days......
Did you have it and did you have a boy or girl?

I never got it and my first was a boy. I don't have it again, but I don't know the gender yet.

I have it and they say its a girl.....I thought I read somewhere that it was more hereditary than anything else, same as stretch marks which I dont have yet fortunately...
I am 30 weeks and was told it was a girl at level 2 sonogram.

not true, i had an extremly dark linea negra and had a girl. infact when i was pregnant with my boy, i never got one. go figure.

I never got one at all and I have one of each. It has more to do with your heritage and skin tone than anything else.

i'm having a boy and i just started to notice a very faint line at around 28 weeks.
is anyone else's line crooked? mine kind of goes to the left of my belly button

When my SIL was pregnant with her first she had it and it was a girl, with the second (girl) and now third (boy) she didnt have it. A friend of mine had a boy and didnt have it and mine is starting to appear and i'm also having a boy. It has to do with the increase of melanin which increases durning pregnancy. It is what also makes your nipples darker.
