i used to be a cheerleader in JHS...one year we cheered for the Phil. 76'ers.
i was going to become a DEA Agent when i was in my 20's
i once made over $70K in one day (don't ask)
i've taken, and passed with flying colors, several civil service exams (still awaiting the results of one of them)

i am terrified of deep dark water...you wont catch me swimming in a lake.
i am a bookworm..i speedread, so often i can finish a book in a day or even a few hours
i still miss my dog pepper who died 6 years ago at age 16...she was my best buddy
as a kid i always was mistaken for the poltergeist girl, people asked me for autographs
i attended 3 colleges, and still to this day know that i didnt choose the right major!
oh and a bonus one...i totally believe in spirits and ghosts..my belief is that those who dont believe are just not sensitive to the presence!!

more since I only did three.
My first boyfriend died in a plane crash when he was only 19. he is definitely my guardian angel.
I used to have Convulsions when I was little but never had them again.
I was the ugly duckling while I was a teenager so my self steem was very low.
I took modeling classes and etiquette classes. I always wanted to be a model but I'm only 5'2.
I only had one serious relationship which was dh. I met him when I was 19.

Let me start off by saying that I am a very strange person...
1. I am obsessed with spiders. I love them! When I see a spider web in the backyard, I will catch bugs and throw them in the spider web and watch the spider eat it. I made a video once (when I was about 21 years old ) with the help of my younger brother. I wanted to send it to Animal Planet. It is called "When Spiders Attack". If I ever find a spider indoors, I will catch it and let it go outside. I yell at people who squash spiders.
2. I had scarlet fever 7 times as a child. The last time I had it was 3rd grade while I was on vacation in Disney in Florida.
3. I still sleep with my baby blanket My mom crocheted it while she was pregnant with me. When I was in elementary school, I used to use the corners of it to pick my nose. Over the years, the corners have fallen off and are now tied together. My DH thinks it is disgusting! To me, it is the softest blanket ever, but my DH thinks it feels like sandpaper.
4. When I was a little girl I used to dream about being a Garbage Woman someday. I used to watch them pick up the garbage from the window and thought it was the coolest job, since they used to run and jump onto the back of the truck while it was moving.
5. I have recurring nightmares about dying during childbirth. At the end of the dream I am like an angel and I am watching my DH holding the newborn baby while my dead body is in the bed next to them with the sheet pulled over my head.  The dream happenes the same exact way every time and I wake up sweating and with my heart pounding.

4. I have OCD - I always need everything around me to be cleaned and in order...if I don't get to do things on my "to do list" I cry hysterical it is actually quite annoying
Same here and it doesnt make a pleasant life for me. Sometimes I cant breathe when things are out of order.
Lets see.....
- I have supported myself since I was 17 years old.
-All my life I was afraid of dogs until I met my friend (diamondgrlies) dog and now I am DYING for one of my own.
-I have a huge fear of either of my parents or my sister dying. I dont think I could go on living normally after that.
-I gained 100 pounds in college.
- I hate driving. I am afraid of every single car on the road.
-Besides the obvious things like friends and family, music is the most important thing to me.

1: I am totally obsessive compulsive.
2: I adore being with DH, but I love and cherish my "me" alone time.
3: I really don't like my job/field as much as I always wanted to. Oh...and I used to be a ballerina. Which I miss.
4: I miss wedding planning. I'm a dork.

#1-I've never owned a pet.
#2- I have an irrational fear of large moving vehicles ( trucks, busses)
#3-I've only been had one interview & 1 job since college (8 years ago)
#4- I took ballet lessons untill I was 18.
#5- I don't really like talking about myself.
Hey there - another coincidence with us - I took ballet until I was 18 as well!!!!

you probably know this stuff already, but i'm trying to pick my brain for some "new" stuff
- i never met my biological father, and never even felt like i wanted to (i was just completely indefferent to the idea).
- i used to play the Viola, and loved paula abdul (back when she was normal) so much that i taught myself how to play the solo part in "Rush, rush" when i was in 7th grade.
- i help support my parents, and stress about becoming very rich and successful so that i can make their life better.
- i'm anxious to have kids because so many people in my family have bad health and i worry that they'll never get to see my child(ren)
- my uncle (who is only 6 years older than me) is autistic, and when we were little and he would act out, i was the only one who could calm him down. he would make me promise that i would always protect him- and i always have.
- most people think i'm completely carefree, they'd probably be shocked to hear my life story.
- i cant say "my grandmother" without getting choked up. i think about her everyday, and dont think that anything will ever fill her void.
- i'm awesome at standardized testing, and still tease DH about how i did better than him on the SATs
- i love learning, i'm a science dork. now its life sciences, but i was always obsessed with physics and calculus.
- i have no sense of direction, and get lost 5 blocks away from my house.
- i have a fear of commitment, and cant make plans to save my life. i hate having to be anywhere, but love being spontaneous about it.

6 - I always wished for a sister when I was younger, and now that I am older, I cannot express how much I love my 2 brothers, and how I would not trade them for the world!
7 - My Mom is my Best Friend!!
8 - I regret going to college and getting in debt, as my AS got me nowhere, and the only good thing that came out of college, was my DH
9 - I am so proud of my dad for owning his own business, and being successful, when he only graduated from HS, no college--no training!
10 - I have a major thing for Mens Brooklyn Accents!

I teach high school, you would think I'd have experience with brains but they rarely occupy the heads in my classroom

Neenie, I always suspected you were a special person from what you write and how you treat people on here......you just confirmed my hunches about you.

1. i broke a vertebrae in my neck doing gymnastics when i was 12
2. both of my parents are jewish and i grew up with a christmas tree in my home

1. I shattered my left ankle after falling off a trailer hitch in Flushing Meadow park - I was told my ankle and foot went in 3 different directions - no one would let me look
2. I have a HUGE fear of any type of bug/insect 
3. I stop hiccupping if someone looks at me and says Boo (not yells it - just says it. Sometimes it works if I just think it)
4. DH is the only one who can calm me down and make me feel protected/safe.
5. I love Rob Thomas' voice - it hypnotizes me

Okay -- I have something similar. My cat (used to be cats but one passed away, they were mother and daughter) eat Ear wax.
They would pick the q-tips out of the garbage they were so crazy for them!! And if you scratch your ear she'll come sniffing over and try to lick it! Its sooooo gross!!!
