I THINK WE'RE GETTING A PUPPY - Updated - she's ours! Pictures on Page 2!
Okay, so not really a puppy, but a 7 year old boston terrier. 
Our friend's friends need to find another home for him since they're getting married and he has a rottie that does NOT get along with the boston...
Well, our friends were going to keep him, but already have a dog, and may not be able to keep the 2nd dog in their apartment... and if they don't, DH finally caved and said we could keep him 
I'm so flippen excited - I've always wanted a dog but was never allowed to have one growing up - and now i may get one

Our friend's can't keep the dog - so he's OURS!!!
I get to meet him tonight - I'm SOOOOO excited!
Whoops - Puppy is a girl named kaitlyn 
DH kept telling me it was a boy
