THEY ACCEPTED OUR BID!!!
I can't believe how happy I am right now!
After negotiating back and forth with the price, they accepted our bid which was actually $5k less than we expected to pay!
We are having the engineer come tonight to check out all the details and then onto mortgages.
I am SO happy, we loved this house the second we saw it...

It is in Lindenhurst, in the village part.
Taxes are a little high but it is only a 31 yr old house with all new updates. New roof, electric, boiler, hot water heater, floors, etc.
Lets hope the inspector finds it to be as nice as it looks.

Wow!!!! Awesome news Diane!!!!!! I am so happy for you and FH. Lots of young couple and professionals are moving there. 2 people I work with bought there in the last year and they love it. Congrats and keep us updated. I have a great real estate attorney if you need one. We used him and loved him.

Where in Lindenhurst.
We just signed contracts and etc. for a house in Lindenhurst. Hopefully we will go to closing in Sept 30th. Maybe we are neighbors
