Does the Cheescake factory do brunch? Or is that too expensive?

not sure, I think their prices are same as that new place grand luxe someone had mentioned in another post recently.
Do we know what time we will be meeting?

OK, so I called cheesecake and grand lux. Neither take reservations. Grand lux said they are usually not busy on a Saturday at 1:00. Cheesecake was much more cryptic and said it would depend but they cant quote estimates on the phone for parties over 8Chat Icon Please...

For both if one of us got there an hour ahead of time and then did some shopping (which I could probably sacrifice myself for) we could probably check in and get the wait started. Or we could sit at the bar and drink our shirley temples.

Whats everyones thoughts on this?

Re: Time for a GTG??

I still think Blue Tequila is the best idea -- fun, good food, cheap drinks, good music and it doesn't get so crowded as anything at either of the malls........ I would speak to them in my smokin' Spanish and charm the heck out of the maitre'd to get us a reserved table....Chat Icon

Re: Time for a GTG??

Ladies,

I won't be able to make it. We are doing so much work on the house and have to use every second of every weekend so we can move in asap. I probably would have been able to sneak away to Huntington but I can't do Carle Place.

Count me in for the next one!

Re: Time for a GTG??

I will call and reserve a mesa for 1pm --- but, for how many??

Lauren, it's really easy --- Meadowbrook or Northern State or LIE to Glen Cove Rd. south --- to Old Country Road West (left turn) and it is in the shopping center on your right-hand side, next to.... hmmm what's there now? Used to be The Wiz... of there is also a Bombay & Co. I think... and Ben's Deli? Not sure but it is right there, really.

OMigosh of course not silly!!! It's 22 days away!! Lots of people will change their minds between now and then, I am sure.... Now I know to reserve a table for 2-3 less than say they will actually be there, lol...
