Agreed - I think it was a perfect ending for the show
I have to agree. There was one serious part of the show but they totally worked in the Barone humor to make it funny

I loved the show, but no curtain calls? They made reference to them throughout the 1-hour re-cap, then didn't show any? 
That show is soooooooo my life! Sad to see it's over!

Yeah they had this show where the actors and writers talked about each character. They showed clips from the past nine years.

Something must have gone over my head.
Yes, everyone really loved Raymond at one point, and everyone making a fuss over food at end seemed right, but I missed how it felt like a good ending to nine years.
I'm not intending to change the topic, but just to make a point, I felt the Seinfeld ending really tied in all the episodes and finalized the story. I just had hoped this one had something more in it. Unless, as I said, something slipped by me, which is not impossible. LOL.
