What age did you get their first professional photos?
I'm dying to get Isabella's done but I don't know if it's worth it. It would be hard to schedule it around her awake time.
Any pics would be great! Thanks

@ 3 weeks some guy came to my house for a "free 5x7", I hated him & his pictures of Joseph.
The same company called me with Maddie, so I said absolutely not. I took her to Kiddie Kandids at about 6 or 8 weeks.

we had someone come to the house at 3 weeks...we wound up spending like 300 bucks for a package we can get at Kiddie Kandids for like a 100 bucks...BUT I liked the convenience and the woman that worked with her was AMAZING and so fast, she even got a half smile out of her...AT THREE WEEKS!

I had a photographer come to the house when Andrew was just 8 days old. Very expensive, but they did a great job. I will do the same for this baby.
After that, I used JC Penney's for pics. I am in the minority, but I hate KK for pics and they are very expensive as well.

I had DS Easter pic done at Walmart, he was 3 months...didn't go to well. He really wouldn't smile and was afraid. I am planning on taking him back for 6 months photos, but at a different place (possibly Sears or JC Penny)  Not sure yet though.

4 week- someone came to the house- LOVED THEM but major$$$$$
6 weeks- I took him to picture day at work- they came out horrible- I didnt order any
2.5 months- Xmas pics @ Sears- they were ok...
6 months- Easter pictures- with the photographer that came to the school @ work, and this time they came out AMAZING- They photographer was WONDERFUL, and the fact that I pay close to nothing for them- makes it even better...
***I have a gift cert. to Kiddie Kandids.... I was waiting until he could sit up to go (thinking they'd be able to do much cooler things with him) and now that he can...I dont know what Im waiting for...***

I got Jared's pics done at JC Penney's at 3 months old. I have a Sears gift card, that I'm holding on to for pics one day and I'd love to try Kiddie Kandids.

We brought Emily to Target for Christmas photos at around 2 months. I have to dig up that thread to post the pics.
We juts brought her again at 6 months and I am posting the pics in a little bit -- they just got e-mailed to us today!
Edited to add in some pics that we've had done, one from November and one from 6 months, the day after Easter.

I had the photographer come to the house when he was 2 weeks old, telling me i get a free 8X10... so she came.. shot away, they were total crap, and when they came to try to "sell" me a whole package, i just said , "ill take my free 8x10 thanks, bye".... I dont plan on taking him until at least 6 months. He is too much of a Crankenstein...

I didn't take Kevin until he was 1 year because I take lots of pictures myself and didn't see the need. Although I did have someone come to the house at 3 months for some prof christening pictures.
