Lucy Crifasi- my "aunt" worked for Marsh McLennan on the 96th floor of the north tower
FDNY Michael Keifer- went to high school together and I see his poster everyday on my way home from work

Michael Lynch, FDNY and world's best DJ - I grew up down the street and was friends with his younger brother. His brother's eulogy says:
"With all those heroes and patriotic American citizens entering God's presence that day, heaven must have needed a really good DJ." It makes me both smile and cry.

Christopher Racaniello (Cantor Fitz) Our cousin....he was supposed to get married Nov '01
Michael Kiefer (FDNY)...My mom was his elem school nurse...DH played sports with him
So many of the parents of students I knew when I was a TA in Manhasset
AND each and every person who lost their lives on that terrible day..WE will NEVER EVER FORGET YOU

The youngest NYPD officer killed that day at age 26. He was a close friend of mine and I will never stop mourning his death.

I knew him in HS through friends.
All from Xaverian HS, my DH knew a few of them and used to teach there.
All who lost their loves that day.
All three of the gentlemen I posted - one cousin, two friends were Xaverian grads.
I thought the names looked familiar.
The name i posted went to xaverian also

Both of these young men worked for Cantor Fitzgerald and both graduated my high school just a few years prior to me.
I didn't know either personally, but both were very accomplished in high school and life after high school. It was a very sad loss for WIHS and the community. Many people in W Islip were affected. One family lost both parents in the tragedy, it is so sad.
