Help us save lives! Join our Light the Night team!
We are putting together a team to walk in this year's Leukemia and Lymphoma's Light the Night Walk. We are going to be walking in memory of Liz's Mom, Patricia, who lost her battle to leukemia in 2004. We are going to be walking on Thursday, September 28th, 2006 at Hofstra University in Hempstead. We would love to have a huge team walking with us. If you you would like to walk with us please go here to register and follow the steps below.
Link to Register to Walk and to Donate to our team!
1. Select "Register to Walk" on the left hand side.
2. Select "Join Team"
3. In the "Search By" drop down box select team name.
4. Search for team name "Remembering Patricia" and select search.
5. The team name will appear in the search below. Select "Join" next to the team name. Make sure the walk site is Hofstra University.
6. Follow the prompts and fill out all information.
It is that easy. You will then receive everything in the mail you will need to raise donations.
And if you are unable to walk we would appreciate anyone who can make a contribution to our team and help us reach our goal! We hope to raise a lot of money for this great cause.

It won't find the Team Name "Remembering Patricia"
Is Ron the team captain? Can we search for it that way?

I am going to check with DH to see if he's planned anything (it's around my b'day). If not, we'll walk! If we can't walk, we'll gladly donate. I think you're all incredible for doing this!

I have participated in this walk for the last 5 years and love it. The event itself is great. They always have food and entertainment and things for the kids to do. Also Chad Pennington is the Long Island Spokesperson and walked in the last 2 years walks at Hofstra.

Im so glad you all are doing this!!
We have done a family team the last few years b/c my uncle passed from lymphoma, but I hope to see yas all there and will certaintly donate to yoru team

Are we allowed to walk with a dog? I know for the Susan G. Comen we can walk & sponsor our pup as well....

I just got this back from the Long Island Campaign Director -
"I the dog lover, am sad to say that there are no dogs allowed at any of our Light The Night Walksites"
So sorry no doggies at the walk.

I am already signed up to walk on the team for Captain Charisma's little cousin Catherine but would be more than happy to donate on behalf of Liz's dear Mom Patricia also
Last year was my first year as a volunteer and I loved each and every minute of the experience!

I'll join the team- and I reposted the tread from FHF on the motherless support group- I think it would be nice to all do it together
I lost my Mom to Lympohma the same year as Liz
the walk is 2 years, 1 month and 1 day- not that I am counting

What a great event.... I lost my brother to Lymphoma as well.
I am walking for Light the Night in Bear Mountain on Sept 30th, but I made a donation to your team as well.
