I think they are great, very pretty.... Just a suggestion a friend recently got us a set of stemless wine glasses and I thought they were so cool because I hadn't really seen anything like them before! Either type is really great though. DH and I love wine so any sort of housewarming wine related gift is perfect for us

Just the top part of the glass, no stem on the bottom, supposedly they are better to put in the dishwasher... I just thought they were cool because I had never seen them before!

Danielle and I have the Mikasa ones and they are great glasses - Just very fragile. I hand wash them after each use...I wouldnt even think of putting them in the dishwasher
