Never liked her...not surprised.
They say that men that were deeply in love with their wives re-marry soon after becoming a widower since they miss the company so much. But this was just  from the get.

I thought so too, especially since they were such a strong couple. At the time I concluded that he was someone who couldn't stand to be alone.
He married her 4 years after Linda. I don't think that is so soon? IMO the living should live, just because he wanted to move on with his life does not mean he wasn't strong enough to be alone.
You're right, it was 4 years later. But she died in April 98 and they started dating in May 99. I've taken longer than that to get over semi-serious boyfriends, let alone the death of someone I've claimed was my soul mate.
I know people grieve at different rates - to each his own - but IMO, it was too soon.

I'm pretty sure he has funds locked up in trusts. Would you be really angry that your dad lost a few million to a woman? He is a billionaire. I'd be more upset about the emotional toll on my dad who is still probably not over the loss of my mom.

Ditto!! She must feel like "I told you so" but probably can never say that...ultimately, we want our parents to be happy. It's so sad.
