I don't think it should be shown... His death should be private.. I don't think its fair to his family to be reminded all over TV and the internet.

Jes, I feel the same way. If it was released, I would feel this need to watch it, the same way I feel the need to watch all the 9/11 coverage on TV. However, I don't think it should be released. Although he was a public figure, his death should be private, and for his family to view should they choose to do so.

The only reason why I think they should release it is just b/c they are going to have so many bootleg videos of it. There are going to be copies all over the internet of made up garbage. If it is releases it will squash all rumors and pirate videos from popping up.

Actually if that was his wish, it should be honored. It does not matter what his wife thinks, IMHO. I would not watch it however. I did hear that he wanted the tape to be released if something like this ever happened.
I think it is the family's responsibility to respect his wishes, whatever they may have been. What a sad situation

That is the only way that it should be released, is if he wanted it to be. I still think I would not release it if I were in that Family's situation, but I would not go against his wishes.

I feel the same...human nature to want to see it, but I really hope for the sake of his family, and his dignity, that they will not show it. However, would Steve want the world to see? I guess that is what the producers will decide....
