How many hours of sleep do you get a night?
This is on of the things DH and i always disagree on  he gets pi$$y when i come into bed after midnight- but we both get up at 8am... so even if we fall asleep a little after 12.... we're still getting just under 8 hours.
curious to see where everyone else is on this.

Honestly every single night varies. Most days way too little. Probably 6 hours MAX

I try to get at least 8 hours. On nights I DJ its more like 6.

It definitely varies. Most nights I get 5 or 6 hours. Last night I only got 3

And if DH is home, I cannot fall asleep without him in bed

6 to 6.5 hours. Last night was rare. I fell asleep around 10:15 and I woke up at 5am to go to work....

 last night i had insomnia...
started watching the broadcast of the taping of brookhaven's town hall meeting. Verrrryyyy interesting stuff!!
eta: only 4 1/2 hours sleep last night, but usually it's around 7-8

usually about 7-8 i need my sleep.. on the weekends when i work though, I screw up my sleep clock because I go to bed when usually I am waking up!!!!

I need my sleep too- I get in bed at 9, usually fall asleep by about 9:45 and get up at 5:15. But I never sleep through the night- I woke up abot four times last night.

About 6-8 hours per night.
DH went for a sleep study this weekend. He has sleep apnea and they said he wakes up every 30-seconds. That's equivalent to him sleeping 7-hours and really only getting 2-hours of sleep a night

Thats so funny. I at least hope the meeting went well. I can totally relate to this, when I used to have insomnia I found myself watching the most bizarre and random things.
To answer the question, I tend to get about 7-8 on a work night.
