and there was a similar house (but completely updated inside) - small - but on the large lot that this one is - and they were asking $299...

I think it's kind of cute -- the kitchen & bath looks like they are in good shape. The dr is on the small side but there's lots of nice light. The garage is a little crazy looking but would offer lots of storage.
ETA -- I am not house hunting so I am not sure how competitve the price is.

That has to be a typo. I cant imagine anyone would pay 390k for that. Maybe they priced it that way because its on a half acre??? Still crazy though.
