I was having severe problems with my periods being vastly irregular and painful from a very young age, so my Mom felt that I should tested to make sure everything was OK ...

I was 26 and no Mom to take me too. My Mom had passed away.

I'm embarrassed to say (32  )
I'm absolutely terrified of doctors or any kind. I have to make my appt's many months in advance, so I can work myself up to going.
I've been known to pass out because of my anxiety while in the midst of an exam. It's awful, and makes me nervous as to how I will handle it when I have kids.
