Kevin is offically one!!! Pictures and update
So my little man turned 1 on February 1st and we celebrated this weekend. It is so amazing how fast a year goes and how much your life can change.
As for his update – he is doing great. He is still very smiley and a happy boy. He loves his toys and books and puzzles. He loves getting into everything and anything – especially the fridge and pots and pans and the bathroom (obsessed with palyin gin there and learned to open my master bath door). He is trying to walk and getting better everyday. He keeps trying. He has been taking 4-5 steps for about 3 weeks now but this weekend we got as many as 12 in a row without falling – so he is getting there. Loves climbing and your turn for a minute and he is on the coffee table! He still loves to eat and still a big boy (I am guessing close to 25lbs – he doesn’t have a dr appt til the end of the month). He is starting to boycott baby food and loves feeding himself and so far loves everything he tries. Although he still has no teeth to eat with. We shall see in a month if it is the food or the novelty of self feeding he loves. He hates the word no and is starting to learn some fresh habits – seems to find pleasure in smacking mommy or scratching my face.
My biggest news is this is my last week of work full time. I never thought in a million years I would be a SAHM but have decided to give it a try. It has been in the works since September in the office but tried to help out as long as I can or until I had absolutely no more babysitters available. I am going to stay on one day in the city a week as a consultant and as needed from home. It is pretty cool deal along with consultant pay so I am happy about that. I am very overwhelmed by the decision and hope I can do it. I know it will be a huge adjustment.

Sarah's also started smacking us and pulling on our lower lip while laughing. Where do they learn that one from?
Maybe we'll see you at the dr's office, we go on the 28th.

Denise, sounds like Kevin is doing wonderfully! He is just adorable! He's gotten so big since we saw him last!

I can't believe it is a year already. I remember seeing you on the shuttle train and then you had him the shortly after that.
