Re: Just finished watching Brokeback Mountain, I have a question

I think it was meant to be vague.

Re: Just finished watching Brokeback Mountain, I have a question

It was vague but I think he was beaten to death. There weren't any dream sequences prior to the movie showing the beating.Chat Icon

I just finished watching it myself. I didn't think it was as good as the media made it out to be.

I thought it was slow and predictable and not as good as what everyone made it out to be. It was Ehhh for me.

well i say that because when the other guy (sorry im soo bad with names) callled the other one's wife, she just seemed so "whatever" about the whole situation.. she didnt seem like she cared about the fact that her husband was killed. I dont know, i just figured maybe she had her father do it.

see...i thought it was more of a shock and deep disappointment. And i think the way she explained it was more of a way to tell him what happened by not directly saying what really happened. Which she knew...

I think she was angry and upset at Legers character, like he was at fault, but not necessarily would have him killed..

Re: Just finished watching Brokeback Mountain, I have a question

I saw the movie right after it came out so I was pleasantly surprised. Mostly by the acting.

I can understand that with all the hype, someone would be disappointed.

I only saw Titatic several years after it came out and I was so disappointed.

Re: Just finished watching Brokeback Mountain, I have a question

See, I thought that it could have been taken two ways.
He could have been beaten (remember Ledger's character had a thing with that going back to his youth) or maybe he really did get hit by a truck. I thought it was very vague as to what really happened.

I wouldn't have read it if I knew the ending was in the first post either.

Oh well, I don't have time to watch movies anyway- you saved me 2 hours.

If the thread says i just FINISHED the movie and i have a QUESTION....
It usually IMPLIES that a discussion on what happens in the movie will ensue

Chat Icon

that should be warning enough...

i really don't think so...

And i don't think she said he got hit be a truck
From what i remember she said something exploded...but i could be wrong i watched it some time ago

and that she was very sarcastic on how people usually aren't usually unrecognizeable when this happens
