Can't get the links to work but on his main page all of his friends left him messages that they will miss him and stuff like that.

I don't think it is a joke. His friends seem genuinely shocked & sad & a lot of them seem to be friend from his school & town, not just online freinds, so they'd know if it was a joke.

who knows...are all of people's "friends" on myspace real friends? and they're 17 so who knows...and now honestly it looks like a hoax so if it is a hoax the kids a tool....and being he's online I imagine it was just a pathetic attempt for attention..that in itself is pretty sad.

I thoguth that at first--a lot of his friends are real life freidn--you can tell from their profiels, tehy live int eh same town, they have pcitures together, etc.
I thoguth it was a hoax & peopel beleived it, but soemo of them would know or real. IF they are all goign along wthit, that's sick,
If it isn't a haox, I wonder if someone logged into his account.
