I can't believe Kevin made it!  I definitely don't think he's American Idol material. Maybe it's just me because I'm a speech pathologist, but is anybody else bothered by his tongue thrust? He should at least choose a song that doesn't have so many s sounds in it!

Kevin is definatly not an Idol but he has the cute factor. It'll wear off soon. Last week Paula said he was the next sex symbol. It will definatly wear out it's welcome. America is narrowing it down and once they get their top 12 Kevin will be gone. He's definatly not going to be aroud much longer.
Gideon's smile definatly creaped me out. It was so freaky. Then again I work with a girl who is a pagent winner and evey time you talk to her  she does that and talks at the same time. Talk about freaky....
I dont like Bucky. I dont know exactly what it is I just dont like him.

I can't believe Gedeon got voted off. I can't stand his smile but in all honesty the guy can sing and perform. GReat singer and performer he is. I know Simon was kind of ****** that Kevin Covais is in the top 12 and a good singer like Gedeon was not. Very disappointing.

It is very disappointing to see Gedeon go before Kevin. Although Gedeon was not my favorite...I'd so much rather see him go further on the show than Kevin. I think Kevin is absolutely atrocious and seriously wonder how he even made it past auditions. He was never good to begin with!!!!

Yup, so true. Gedeon was not my favorite but he can really sing and can give a good performance.

just because he has a lisp, i think he should sing a song that he chooses. he sounded great at his audition

He should have had his lisp corrected(growing up I was in speech therapy for a really bad lisp, it is now gone). But, he is still a sweet little boy.

I was surprised Ayla and Gedeon were sent home last night. I agree that Gedeon's smile is kind of creepy and he's a little odd especially with constantly saying G-d bless you to everyone, but he was really talented. I think Kevin and Bucky were really lucky. They will probably be voted off early. I liked Melissa, but Ayla had a better voice. I had a feeling Ayla was in the bottom 3, but I thought Melissa was going to be voted off last night.
Ryan mentioned they were doing Stevie Wonder songs next week. Elliot should shine next week. I'm curious to see how some of the others will pull off a Stevie song.

I totally agree. Gideon was odd but at least he had talent. I wonder how long Ace will last.

I agree. I didn't think he sounded great and the song was blah. It made me wonder why I thought he was really good last year.

The matter with the twins was cleared up within a couple of days, and they were offered a record deal immediately after that. I don't like them at all, but I am sure they don't care to come back to the show.
