this is EXACTLY how I feel!!!
i've been WAITING for a response to my request for an "intimate" board, mature board, etc.......it's a NATURAL part of marriage, and open mature discussions regarding this subject should NOT be "taboo" - ESPECIALLY on a "family" site!!!

Ron- Honestly, look at my poll about having a mature board. 96% said that we should have one. When have you ever seen 96% of us agree on ANYTHING?
Ummmm never!  But did everyone vote? Like us!!!! And with the way some are - a board like that even though it will be password protected will have content that will not be acceptable to us. It will get out of hand - there will be posts and comments just for the sake of shocking people. This is not the intent or focus of this site. Thanks!

You can have a board like that and still have limits...

Ron, I'm sorry, but this is a little wacked. Sex, all kinds of it, in all its variations, as long as it's healthy and no one's getting hurt, IS part of marriage. Happy marriage...I really don't get where you're coming from. I'm sure it's 'cause I don't know "enough" but I can't be that judgemental and think that grown married, engaged or dating adults can't behave themselves. That to me is ridiculous and I truly can't fathom the thought.

again, i agree.
what's "shocking" and "unacceptable" for some, may be natural for others.
there can also be RULES laid down.
(now i'm not saying that xxxrated photos and vocabulary should be allowed, but MATURE ADULT conversations about the intimate aspects of marriage SHOULD be! I think we can all agree on that one.

That happens without the subject matter being s-e-x.
The OT forum is still on LIW -- so even though there were some rocky roads. the novelty of having an OT forum wore off and peolple were able to have more iyo acceptable conversations.

I believe that you are referring to me as one of the two people and I will explain why I believe that to everyone, no need for me to be criptic.
Moments before I posted the mature subject I was sending FM with someone and said I wanted to add a controversial topic.
Seems as though my FM might have been read and when it was attention was directed to the actual thread.
Regardless of my motive for a topic, it still was something I was interested in talking about and obviously others were as well.
I find it funny that my motives as a thread started are in question a thread is a thread and keeps people coming to the site. You have given out presents for a hitting a certain amount of posts (the 1k LIW package and diamond earrings for helping the other site hit a million posts).
