I myself think it is a big deal, but more than that, I think it's sad that I wasn't in the last bit surprised by it. Many of my friends and acquaintances, male and female, have had many sexual partners, and usually unprotected.
Someone being a virgin at 25 is more shocking to me in today's society than a 25 year old sleeping with that many people.
Sad.
