Moms/Dads of those who put their babies in daycare at 6-7 weeks old

When did you secure a spot at a day care center? Obviously while you were still pregnant, right? What month were you? Was it hard getting a spot at a day care center you wanted?

We have a friend who is a SAHM and watched her aunt's DD also -- so we just went with her. No spots to secure. I have heard of people doing it early though -- as early as 4 months pregnant. If you are looking for a large facility I'd do it ASAP -- if you are looking for a family day care center you probably won't have as hard of a time.

I put my daughter in at 12 weeks and I secured a few months before especially since she would be starting in the beginning of a school year (September) which meant alot of teachers were putting their kids back in from the summer.

As long as they have room, put a deposit down.
