Yeah, I would think something was off if DH asked me to test.
If we've only been with each other and we were both tested before, why would we need to again?

Yes! B/c to me that would either mean he didn't trust me, or he had a reason to be concerned with my safety b/c he'd been doing something he shouldn't.

Yearly sounds like a lot of testing. How long is it that one can be HIV positive but have a negative test? For STDs I thought pretty muchthey just show up on the test if you have them.

The recent posts about cheating made me wonder. Not yesterday's thread, the other ones that were shocked to find out that their Dh's were cheating. It makes me think you can never be too careful.

No way. We both felt it was important, so we were both tested for that amongst other things.
ETA: I'd be a little put off if he asked me once we were married and had already been tested. That would be weird to me. But when we were dating and decided we were going to get married, then no, it seemed logical.

I might be concerned that something is going on.. but if there isn't anything going on and he just wanted to protect ourselves, I would not be insulted.
We test for EVERYTHING when we get our annual physical.

We've both been tested before. When we got PG we were tested again. I like knowing we're both fine, even though I"m not worried about it.

I would think it was odd because we both got tested when we started dating so if he felt either of us needed to be tested I would certainly wondery why.

My jaw would probably drop to the floor. As shelly said, it would either mean he was cheating or he thought I was cheating. I'd probably throw him out of the house. No offense, but I can't understand how anyone would NOT be offended by this.
