the station agent!
it was filmed in NJ in the town next to mine- a few scenes were even shot at the school i work at ( which is DHs elementary school!)
its a cute story about a "little person" whose best friend dies and leaves him an old train station, and he moves into it... he feels like a lost soul with no more friends, and he meets a couple other lost souls... its just a cute story abotu friendship and stuff

I LOVE this movie!! it's a comedy but IMO it has some pretty thought provoking parts as well.

ETA:  it made a whopping $37K! I guess I caught it on HBO and liked it so much I bought the VCR tape, I still have it.
