So I have been looking at all these cute baby pics on the parenting board
and I don't know what happened but now I think I want one
I really lost that feeling a few years ago- I think it was b/c of my Mom being sick
but seeing all these cute babies just got me really excited
I know Jake isn't on the same page- and that we really aren't ready- we are too selfish right now
but at least I know the feeling isn't gone for ever- I was starting to think it was
post more pics of your cute kids! I want to see them!

Awww... that's so great Beth!! I know what you mean about everything you were feeling w/ your mom.... its hard imagining going through pregnancy and raising kids without her... BUT.... just think about that bond that you had with her, and how wonderful it will be to have that with your own children... and to carryon her traditions and be the type of mother to your kids, that she was to you!!

Aw such cuties you have!!!!!
Just remember when you are finally ready to have kids - it takes 9 more months for them to get here. Then you REALLY REALLY want them!!!!

In all seriousness, I know a lot of people that felt the same way about not being sure of having kids of their own.
My twin felt the same way until my nephew was born.
My mom's neighbor felt the same way until Joseph kept asking her if he could visit their dog.
Our friends were in the "no kids" mode until Maddie started playing with them & asked the husband if he could babysit her stuffed animal.
It happened gradually for all of them. One day a kid grabbed a hold of something inside them that they didn't think they had or wanted. They started to have conversations with their spouses and well, the next thing you know we have...a 9 year old, a 2 month old & a TTC couple.
