Some questions that are asked, I may not have any answers to the question. Or sometimes when advice is asked for, I might not have any.

Either I have nothing to say on the topic (ex - like the autism post. I find it VERY interesting, but I have no knowledge in that area. Rich, however, would have a field day with that), OR it doesn't pertain to me...or I just don't FEEL like writing out a reponse. lol.

On LIW, I don't respond when I don't have something nice to say.

For me it can be all of the above, and more... Primarily, though, it's because someone else already posted what I would have written, and I have nothing else to add.

i voted nothing nice to say...but i also don't answer on topics b/c i don't like the poster. and on liw its the same...i don't answer usually b/c there is no nice way of saying "what the hell were you thinking?"

A range of reasons- usually I have nothing to say in response, because I may not know the answer, or maybe what I'd say has been said.

Sometimes, it's pure laziness on my part.

Ditto to Marcie and Mrs. Professor..I either have no opinion on the topic, know nothing about it to add anything of value, or am just plain lazy

ETA: I almost never refrain from answering b/c of WHO started a post, since I don't know most people on here anyway, nor do I have opinions about most people here.

Some times I'm not in the posting "mood." I usually reply to posts all at once or just none at all.

Alot of times it's because I get to a post too late and someone has already said what I would have said so I really have nothing to add.
