I just saw the commercial for the World Trade Center movie
and started to tear up right away. I thought that I would be able to go see the movie and be okay with it, but now I don't think I can do it. I couldn't even watch a 30 second commercial. Maybe it's just too soon.
Will any of you be seeing it at the movies?

I cried when I saw it too. I lost my aunt that day in Tower 1 and I can't even think of reliving that day.

I was at the movies in June and one of the previews was for this movie. I couldn't handle it - started crying and couldn't stop. I lost family that day and will not be going to see the movie.

I would like to see it but I know I will be too emotional to see it in a theater. I will wait for DVD or cable.

Maybe when it comes on video. My father is a survivor and lost about 80 co-workers including his boss and assistant. Hits too close to home...

Nope. One of the actors was on TV the other day talking about why this movie had to be made and I couldn't even watch that.

I don't think I could watch it either. I feel like it is too soon and it's approaching the anniversary. Maybe when it comes out on DVD and I can watch it in the privacy of my home.

No and honestly I think its inappropriate that it was made in the first place.
This morning on FOX there was a 9/11 widow talking about how upset she was because in the movie they talk about how her husband died. I think it was something to the effect of he committed suicide with his gun because he was buried under the rubble. I was sick to my stomach for that poor woman. I feel horrible for the rest of the victims families as well - I dont think this is fair to make them relive this.

There is no way I would go see this movie and really question why it was made in the first place. Isn't there enough horror in the world still? Why would anyone pay to relive that day over again? Not me

That day is still so crystal clear in my head, unfortunately. I just don't need to sit in a movie theatre and relive Hollywoods version.
I think its way too soon.

While I am sure that the movie was very well made i saw Nicholas cage in an interview and the showed clips of the movie and i could barely watch that.
