I was 24, he was 20.
I guess you could say he knocked on my door...lol. I broke up with my bf, and immediately started dating him because he was so adorable!

2. I was 17, he was 18
3. He left his beeper # on my windshield while my car was parked in front of my house that night (he drove all over my neighborhood looking for my car) and the rest is history..

I met him in college, thru the guy I was dating at the time
I was 18 when I met him, 20 when we started dating.
He didn't exactly knock on my door - we were friends, and I let him know I liked him first, thinking that he was also interested.

We met where I work. He was a guest at the hotel.

I was 32 he was 27.

It was kind of mutal. We both flirted with each other for a few days. Then we went out with a large group of his co-workers and a few of my friends. The rest is history

We met on the high school track - we were both 17 (although he was a grade ahead due to the b'day cutoffs).

He definitely knocked on my door- he couldn't resist the hotness in my spandex running tights and a band camp t-shirt.

I met my DH while away at a Due Diligence Conference in CO. We became friendly and would go out occassionally. It took him 9 months to ask me on a date. I was 30 and he was 36. He didn't "knock" on my door but we became friends first and that made all the difference in the world.

I met him St. Patrick's Day 2001 at Brother Jimmy's in the city. I was 20, he was 28. He called me 2 nights later, I broke up with my boyfriend, and DH and I had our first date a week later :)

I was 23 years old. I was friends with an acquaintance of his, to make a long story short. And in a way, love came knocking...he knocked on the door of the house and when we met, things blurred we've been togeter ever since.

I was 33, he was 35.

There's no such thing as them coming to your door (at least none of my friends or family ever met someone that way)... we went to college together (same major, same dorm, a lot of the same friends ) but never met until 14 years later. We both had to lead the lives we needed to lead (for him his first marriage) in order to truly appreciate each other.

I wish he had some to my door...lol..... I was out there actively dating long after most people I knew got married and started families. It gets harder to meet people the older you get. One good rule is "never turn down an invitation" because you never know

I met him at a bar where he was talking to my friend who had a bf, and she called me over to introduce us. I was 24 and he was 29. He gave me his # and I waited the good ol' 3 days to call!
