I HATE AETNA!
they change their drug coverage allowence and didn't inform me, just called them the cust serv. is terrible! The woman is obviously not trained, did not answer my question, was just reading from a book to me and she talked like she's half asleep...
i am so mad!!!

30 mins on the phone, I am still confused!! The rep was completely imcompetant.. I am still so mad, I felt like I was speaking a foreign language to her, I ask her a question, she read a paragraph from her book, completely not related to my question 
I went to CVS to fill my prescription, I was asked to pay full price for it... I've taken this before and always paid the co-pay
apparently there is a change in the none-formulatory drug? What does that mean???

once a year, we get updated from aetna explain what drugs are/aren't covered with the new changes.... same goes with any changes in co-pay's etc....
aetna is both good and bad to us compared to other companies but mostly good since it covers 100% of things some most costly compaines didnt' cover .... only thing i hate is referrals procdure

I have Open Access, so no referrals for me.. I am just really frustrated at the untrained customer serv. rep! I don't remember getting anything in the mail explaining any changes...
I do agree with their 100% coverage at some stuff, but for those that doesn't have to go to the hospital a lot of have major surgeries.. common prescription drug coverage is most important to us.

yes they are horrible...open access...don't think my employer has that option....
i agree with that statement...100% but this is why we stayed cause we live @ the hositpal (not so much now)
There cust serv is a joke and whatever dr's they have staffed there. we need a medical procedure done and they wouldn't approve the process. so our dr at North Shore LIJ had to fight to get it done (appeals process, etc..). its sad how they are concerned with money and not with saveing lives

Do you know what your copay is for a visit? I was charged $50 the other day and I owe my dr. money from the past when we thought my copay was half that! I don't ever remember it being that high. I have to call them, but have been putting it off.

co-pay depending on who you see (pcp, specialist, hostipal) etc....
it also depends on your plan as your empolyer may only pay but so much so the rates vary
