I am about 5 years behind schedule, but it's all good. I figured by now I would be done having kids but nope not yet

Definately not- I thought I would have a kid in grade school by now!

i was never really one for setting goals. still not, actually

the one thing though- i always swore i was going to get married at 24-- and i did. maybe i should have set more goals- if only they would all turn out like that one did

with everything else, i just kinda feel like it will come when its supposed to. not that it wont require a strong effort.... but i just kinda take everything as it comes

I guess I am in certain ways just thought it would have happened a little faster. I did get married, and have only landed my "stable" job as of this year. I guess I am it was just kinda delayed, but wouldn't change a thing.. things happen for a reason I firmly believe this

yes and no.

I'm married, have a house and have my kids, but I didn't think I'd be divorced and re-married, and I'd hoped to be more financially stable.

sort of-
I thought I'd be married a little earlier (got married at 29) but DH was well worth the wait! I would have liked to have children earlier, but I guess it doesn't matter as long as we have them! And we will start TTC in the spring...

As far as career- I thought I would be in a REALLY exciting job....I like human resources but I'm not passionate about it! That's okay though....now I know that I'm just not cut out for too much excitement!

For the most part yes.

I'm way more ahead of schedule with the having kids part than I ever planned to be (I didn't want to start until 30) but the married, house, and career part is right on target. I just wish I was making a little more money - but don't we all!!

I always thought I'd be married with kids by age 25 but that didn't happen since I was finishing up law school at that time and hadn't even met DH.

YES AND NO I THOUGHT I WOULD BE MARRIED AND I WAS BUT NOW DIVORCED UMM I NEVER EVER WANTED A HOUSE I WANTED TO LIVE IN THE CITY BUt i owned a house ( now sold) work wise I guess I am on target as far as the pay ...but life is funny there are ups and downs ..but i don't think i would change any of it !

I thought that I would've at least made my Broadway debut by now. The rest of my life is pretty much on track. I have a winderful husband and we own property in NYC. Next to my career disappointments I am pretty happy.

well, kind of. School and career is good.

A little ahead on the marriage, I always thought closer to 24 or 25, but here I am, married and just about 3 1/2 weeks shy, of 23.

A little behind on our location. DH didn't get into his grad program right away, so he's in in 2nd year of classes, as opposed to his internship, so we'll see what happens with next year, where he gets his internship, if I have to do the interview thing again.

Not planning on kids for another 4-5 years, and so far so good with that.

And hopefully we'll be able to buy a house (or condo, townhome, something) in 3 years.

I don't neccesarily have to have a house, but I'd like to own something before I have a child. So we shall see

Well, in ways i feel like im ahead of schedule - i got married at 24 - thought i would of met the man of my dreams later - but i was fortunate to have met him earlier, bought a house and now expecting a baby in Feb 06'.

So, everything seems to be right on track right now.

For the most part except for the part where my own desires have changed. I thought I would be having kids around 26-27, and for me personally, I do not want that for another few years. But everything else-yes.
