But then why go to the hospital to "give birth" how did they pull that off???
Why not just say she is giving birth at home, or in another country like Angelina?

That is weird and I too am convinced that there is no child. She doesn't feel good for company, but Tom can lug Katie around days after she gave birth?

Plus, I'd think that confidentiality laws would protect them. If I worked at an LA area hospital and she wasn't born there, I'd think "maybe she was born at XX hospital instead" and it's not like someone can call up and ask if Katie Holmes was a patient there.
It also seems like they are out quite a bit, together, without the baby. I am not a mom but I don't see myself wanting to leave my baby without either parent at home unless I HAD to. And they are in a financial position where they don't have to be out at all, if they don't want to.

My theory is that she was preggo way before they told the public and really had the kid months ago. It was during that time they "disappeared from the public eye" for awhile.
He probably wanted to time the birth around the release of his movie. And they didn't want it to seem she was preggo before they were engaged.
Now they have to wait until the kid gets bigger and people won't be able to tell the difference.

I think they did have the baby and are waiting for another reason for publicity to introduce her to the world. I have given up on trying to figure them out.

If there really was no baby - then wouldn't that leak out from someone from the hospital Katie "delivered" at? It really is weird though - they go from being everywhere in the public eye to hiding out. So strange.

I thought it was part of Scientology though, that that should be somewhat secluded in the beginning for peace & bonding & stuff?
And PPD could be a factor too. After what he said abotu Brooke Sheilds, I'm sure they'd want to keep that quiet.

I just can't see how they are the only ones who they were not able to get a picture of the baby. These photographers hide in every bush and tree available to get a shot.
I said from the beginning and I still say it, she was never pregnant and there is no baby!!
